Florence Copper has awarded scholarships to Florence and Pinal County students since 2011. Since that time, the "Creating Opportunities" scholarship program has awarded over $71,700 in scholarships to talented students in Florence and the surrounding area to help them pursue higher education.
Florence Copper is committed to the Florence community and to helping young people achieve success. The 2023 scholarship application is now open! In order to be considered, eligible students should fill out the application found here prior to April 23, 2023, at midnight.
The Florence Copper Community Foundation was created to provide resources to initiatives that will effectively address community needs, particularly those with long-term sustainability.
The Florence Copper Community Foundation is committed to making a valuable contribution to the Town of Florence and greater Pinal County through charitable donations, community project support, and sponsorships.
To date, over $83,000 has been awarded through the Florence Copper Community Foundation, including recipients such as Honoring/Hiring/Helping Our Heroes of Pinal County, the Florence Food Bank, the Copper Basin YMCA, and the Future Forward Foundation.

Florence Copper is proud to participate in important traditions in Florence and Pinal County such as the Florence Junior Parada, the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce Casino Night, and the Coolidge Cotton Days.
Florence Copper has worked steadily to earn the required permits for the project since 2011. Community outreach and public education about in-situ copper recovery has been a priority.
Since 2015, Florence Copper has volunteered in highway cleanups. We adopted Hunt Highway through the Town of Florence's Adopt-a-Town-Road program and volunteer in quarterly cleanups to take care of our adopted highway. Our employee volunteer programs will continue to grow as we advance to commercial operations.
