Introducing Copper Connections

Lorri Rodriguez has been a Florence Copper employee longer than anyone – over 10 years! With degrees in both Accounting and Business, Lorri provides her expertise as our Coordinator of HR and Accounting. Among many of her day-to-day duties, Lorri ensures that Florence Copper is recruiting the best candidates when positions open and ensuring that employees get the resources and training needed to be successful in their positions. She also serves as Vice President & Treasurer for the Florence Copper Community Foundation.

While Lorri was born in Florence, she grew up in Mammoth in Eastern Pinal County. She and her husband chose to move to Florence in 2002, knowing that it was a great place to raise their family.

Lorri has had a long career here in Pinal County. Before coming to Florence Copper, she worked at Magma/BHP Copper in San Manuel for eleven years. She also spent seven years at the Pinal County Attorney’s Office and five years as a Detention Officer at the ICE facility in Florence.

“I’m proud to be part of Florence Copper,” said Lorri. “Working here feels like family, and the company truly cares about the people who work and live here in Florence.”

Thank you, Lorri Rodriguez, for your dedication to Florence, Pinal County, and the mining industry!
