2016 Creating Opportunities Scholarship Program Now Accepting Submissions

Florence Copper is awarding $2,000 in scholarships!
We are proud to be in our 6th year of the Creating Opportunities Scholarship Program. Since the program was established in 2011, Florence Copper has awarded over $56,000 in scholarships to talented students in Florence to help them pursue a higher education.
Florence Copper Inc. is committed to this community and to helping young people achieve success in their education -- we believe strongly in supporting academic success.
This year, two $1,000 one-time scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors who live in and attend school in Florence, Arizona and based on the following criteria:
- Academic, athletic, or other achievement (community, volunteer, etc.)
- Leadership capabilities
- Achievements, awards and recognition at school, in the community and/or personal activities
- Creativity and quality of video submission and application essay
- Letter(s) of recommendation
